Ovation Players joins CTG  [Posted 9/27/05]
After some procrastination, and having used CTG services for a time, the Ovation Players became a member organization of Colorado Theatre Guild in September. CTG acts as a central clearing house for Theatre Arts in Colorado, providing audition and performance calendars, news and reviews, special ticket packages, workshops and classes, and political advocacy for both amateur and professional performing arts. In addition, their weekly email newsletters keep individuals and organizations up to date with the latest news in the "biz." LCMA and Main Street Players to Share Facilities  [Posted 9/6/05]
Beginning September 5, 2005, The Ovation Players (a project of Littleton Community Music Association), and Main Street Players, a local community theater company now in its 21st season, have joined forces to share LCMA's existing warehouse/shop space in Englewood. The sharing of resources will give both organizations greater access to equipment, sets, and shop facilities for their mainstage productions. Main Street Players' President Jim Honiotes said of the move, "This looks like a terrific opportunity to serve our two organizations. We have complimentary seasons, talents, assets and missions and there are many reasons to be optimistic about additional collaboration in the future." The Executive Director of LCMA, Chuck Florian added, "By combining facilities we do more than economize our existence. The resulting cooperation of these two organizations will greatly benefit not only the members of both groups but also the community we serve." You can find out more about the Main Street Players and their new season at http://www.msplayers.org/
